This notice covers visits to this website and initial enquiries. Information about further processing within a client engagement will be provided separately where needed.
2. Website operation and hosting
The website is hosted by cyon GmbH in Basel, Switzerland. When you access it, technical connection data is transmitted and processed in server logs. This may include your IP address, date and time, the requested address, browser, operating system, request status and the previously visited page, where transmitted by your browser.
This processing serves to deliver the website, ensure its secure operation and investigate technical errors or abusive access. The hosting provider receives the data required for these purposes. Further information: cyon’s privacy notice.
3. Cookies and external content
This website itself sets no cookies, embeds no external analytics or advertising services and loads no external fonts. Its design assets and logo are served from its own web hosting. There are no user accounts and no form submissions are stored on the website. The hosting service may generate server-side access statistics from technical log data.
Route planning is provided through an external link to Google Maps. You connect to that service only when you open the link. The relevant provider’s privacy notice governs its processing of data. Depending on its infrastructure, data may also be processed outside Switzerland. No map is loaded automatically on this website.
4. Contact by phone, email or post
If you contact the firm, your contact details, the contents of your enquiry and any documents sent with it will be processed. This is done to answer your enquiry, assess a possible engagement including potential conflicts of interest, and handle further correspondence.
The telephone, postal or email service providers used are involved in transmitting correspondence. Carefully selected technical service providers may be used where necessary to process an enquiry. Personal data is not sold for advertising purposes.
An appropriate channel can be agreed for confidential documents. With ordinary email, access by unauthorised third parties cannot be completely ruled out.
5. Retention
Personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes described. Statutory retention obligations and legitimate needs to document, assert or defend claims are taken into account. The retention period for technical logs also depends on operational and security needs and the hosting configuration used.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable data protection law, you may request information about the processing of your personal data and the correction of inaccurate data. Further rights, in particular to erasure or the release or transfer of data, apply where the statutory requirements are met. You may withdraw consent with effect for the future.
Please send such requests to the contact address above. Legal obligations, professional secrecy and the rights of third parties may limit the exercise of certain rights. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
7. Changes
This notice will be updated when the services offered or the services used change. The version published on this website applies.
